Job Title: Business Development Manager – IoT

Location: Atlanta, Georgia: Dallas, Texas: Orlando, FL: (Remote)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong focus on hunting new business opportunities in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients, partnerships, and revenue streams. This role will involve efforts dedicated to hunting for new opportunities and maintaining and nurturing the new relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development (Hunting):
    • Identify and target potential clients and markets for IoT solutions.
    • Develop and execute strategies to approach and win new business opportunities.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
    • Build a robust pipeline of prospects through research, networking, and cold outreach.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored sales pitches and presentations.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to identify up-selling or cross-selling opportunities.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their needs and providing tailored IoT solutions.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the IoT space.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market opportunities and risks.
    • Stay informed about the latest IoT products, services, and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the IoT industry. (5 Years Minimum)
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, trends, and applications.
  • Exceptional hunting skills with a demonstrated ability to close new business deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Established network within the IoT industry.
  • 5+ Years IoT Solution Sales experience
